Friday, December 16th

If you’re not in the Christmas Spirit yet – you will definitely be when you return home from this tour! The stockings will be hung as we depart Central Wisconsin heading south through Wisconsin and into Central Illinois.  Our included lunch stop today will be at the Old Country Buffet in Madison and then on to the State Capitol to check out the state Christmas tree – how tall do you think it will be?

Late this afternoon we will check in at the Hampton Inn in Rockford for a one night stay. After getting settled in just a short drive down the road, we will enjoy our included dinner at Cracker Barrel before heading to Sinnissippi Park to check out their Christmas lights display! We will return to our hotel this evening to enjoy some free time swimming or just hanging out with our friends!

Saturday, December 17th

Rise & Shine to another fun-filled day of touring!  Our included breakfast will be at the hotel before we head further south into Illinois. We will have more fun & games as we travel to the historic town of Washington, IL! We will be welcomed to their town square for some craft’s time, some shopping time and our included lunch will be here as well. Then on to Peoria where we will visit Linden Hill Farms – imagine reading the Christmas Story in the barn, singing Christmas Carols and having the animals right there just like in Bethlehem so many years ago.

Late this afternoon we will check in at the Holiday Inn Express for a one night stay.  This evening we will have an included dinner at a local restaurant before heading for the highlight of the tour – Winter Wonderland Festival of Lights – when you think you have seen them all we will just turn another corner in the park to more fantastic Christmas lights!  On our ride back to our hotel weather permitting we will also stop to see a Narrated Nativity Scene along with other local decorations.  Peoria is the Christmas Lights Capitol of Central United States.

 An indoor pool awaits anyone that is ready for a swim this evening.

Sunday, December 18th

On the road again – following our included breakfast we must say good bye to our friends at the Holiday Inn Express and begin our trip back home to Central Wisconsin. Along with a few games and movies we will make a stop at Fuddruckers in Janesville for our included lunch and then a shopping stop at East Towne Mall in Madison.  Our included dinner stop this evening will be at Culver’s in Portage.

With our final tour stop made, it will be time to return to our homes with the Christmas Spirit to share with your family & friends!  With all of the Christmas lights that we have seen I am sure we will all go to sleep seeing Christmas lights!  Merry Christmas To All & To All A Good Night!
