Take Me Home Country Roads – Feb 19-20
Sunday, February 19th
Rocky Mountain High, Annie’s Song, Take Me Home Country Roads all hit songs of John Denver! Join your friends as we have a leisurely two day tour which will include your favorite songs by John Denver! We depart Central Wisconsin making our way to Culver’s in Portage for our included lunch and then on our way to the East Towne Mall in Madison. The shoppers can enjoy some shopping time and the people watchers can enjoy some people watching time!
Late this afternoon we depart Madison for Pewaukee with a stop at the Machine Shed Restaurant for an included dinner. Just across the parking lot is the Comfort Suites where we will check in for a one night stay. A beautiful indoor pool and hot tub will look mighty inviting on a winter day in February!
Monday, February 20th
Our morning begins with an included hot breakfast at the hotel and some free time to enjoy some more swimming or relaxing in your rooms. Then it is on to Hartford to enjoy a delicious included lunch and show “Take Me Home” the music of John Denver at the Schauer Arts & Activities Center. Jim Curry has created the ultimate tribute to John Denver – Jim often performed with John Denver’s former band members! As we begin our trek home we will have the tunes of John Denver rolling around in our heads.
We will stop for an include dinner this evening in Waupaca before returning back to Central Wisconsin early this evening.
